When it comes to food, the question of the ideal material for packaging is essential. According to European Regulation (EU) No. 1935/2004, the packaging must be intended for direct food contact. Therefore, no substances may be transferred from the packaging to the food. Apart from the material itself, we of course also make sure that the colors for your individual packaging design are fully food compliant.

Sustainable and eco-friendly packaging for food

Packaging protects food against environmental influences. This has always been a central requirement. But the challenges of our time are now significantly more complex. That’s why we ensure that our sustainable food packaging also makes an equal contribution to protecting the environment.

For this reason, we are constantly working on increasing the proportion of paper and cardboard and reducing conventional plastics (e.g. films or plastic trays). In addition, alternatives such as plant-based polymers perfectly round off our range of materials. We are thus able to supply eco-friendly packaging for food, which, in addition to being highly recyclable, is also composed of a large proportion of sustainably cultivable raw materials.
